Religious does not equal: being in Right Relationship with the Lord. People can think they're right with Him (even when they're not). Those people needs some reversal learning. Reversal does not equal: Ready to be used by the Lord. Sometimes there's a lot to be relearned. The Lord does things differently than men do them. Relearning does not equal: Rejected. Even when we're "on the bench", He hasn't forgotten us. He decides when and where and how He'll use us for His kingdom's purpose.

Authority can come from God or men. God-given authority has a sphere. He expects us to respond appropriately to His authorities. Rejecting God's authorities has consequences. Short-term: Regression. Long-term: Removal. Fulfilling His assignments has consequences too. Short-term: Righteousness. Long-term: Reward.
