20/38ths through the Premier League season, we sit third after beating Southampton on the road on New Years Day. The Blues followed that up with an away win at Derby County to start our FA Cup run. We talk about those matches, some transfer talk, and look ahead to Hull City this weekend.
We crash out of the League Cup at Sunderland with very little energy, but we've got Monday to think about against Arsenal. Still 3rd in the league. Come on Chelsea!
A late goal at Stoke prevented the Blues from earning a point to remain 2nd in the league table. We review that match and today's Champions League group stage finale where we an early Demba Ba goal was enough to defeat Steaua Bucharest 1-0 to secure top of Group E heading into the knockouts.
Two wins on the bounce! We concede one of the quickest goals last Sunday against Southampton, but turn around to win 3-1. Today Hazard puts two away during a 4-3 nail biter of a victory against Sunderland. Still alone in 2nd place!
Chelsea ends the month of November 2-1-2 with a win over West Ham and a midweek Champions League loss at Basel. We recap those as well as look ahead to playing league matches against Southampton and Sunderland.
Episode 216 - November Troubles
A solid 3-0 victory over Schalke at the Bridge tonight, while Eto'o makes his presence felt with two of the three. But a rough day at Newcastle over the weekend had Jose making his "eleven mistakes" comment. Still 2nd in the league and rolling along well in our CL group. WBA at the weekend.
After a very successful Tuesday evening in Gelsenkirchen where we grabbed a 3-0 victory, Jose and the lads look forward to the weekend where we host Manchester City. It is a large test within the current top four. Defend the Bridge!
Chelsea takes 3 points away from the Bridge in the league for the first time with a win at Norwich. We'll discuss Willian's highlight goal in that match, and perhaps continue our topic from last week where we cast the hypothetical Chelsea FC movie.
