TSS:Timberwolves Explosion

The Timberwolves in general weren't as sharp this week as they had been of late, but they did maintain their home court winning ways. (except against Houston) Andrew Wiggins, after two ok games vs Chicago and Sacramento, had two of his worst games of his career, especially the Houston game, where he missed his first 11 shots! The Timberwolves honored Flip Saunders before the Lakers game,and we talk about him as well. In a very entertaining couple of games, the Timberwolves end up getting a split, hammering the depleted Pelicans and not finishing a great effort in Cleveland. We discuss the insane trade deadline, which once again did not involve the Timberwolves, but the Cavaliers literally traded away almost half of their team! Jimmy Butler missed this entire week with a sore knee. In a video interview with the Star Tribune's Jerry Zgoda, Butler raved about Wiggins talent, saying "Wigs" is only 40 percent of what he will be. Wiggins exploded against Toronto and especially the LA Clippers, with season highs, including a lot of the amazing spin moves and dunks we know he can do.
