In a summer that appeared to be uneventful, something unexpected always seems to happen. Glen Taylor has put the Minnesota Timberwolves up for sale, and guess who's interested! facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com
Here is the annual granddaddy of them all, State of the Timberwolves 2020 edition! We wrap the 2019-2020 season in a bow, where we would see a season of change, and lots of it. In fact, outside of K.A.T. and Okogie, there is no one remaining from just two years ago! We also talk about where the Wolves should go in the draft, and the not as exciting free agency period. We of course get to your thoughts as well on facebook and twittter! facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com (email audio here!)
Your host finally gives his personal take on "The Last Dance" for an extended period. Joey also waxes nostalgic some more after seeing a pretty cool back and forth with Kevin McHale and Kevin Garnett on NBA TV. facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com
Joey is back to wax nostalgic about the NBA, and about Kevin Garnett's Hall of Fame career. Unfortunately The Big Ticket's beef with Glen Taylor has continued to spill over this passed week, so we dive deep into that some more. facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com
We talk about D'Angelo Russell and a glaring weakness he does have, and exactly what particular area defensively that he desperately needs to work on. This show is short, because of course there are no games to preview at the moment, and we'll see what happens from here... facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com
Malik Beasley talks big, plays big, and appears more and more to be a great acquisition by Wolves POBO Gerson Rosas. During Stretches this week, defense did not apply, but luckily there were some moments where we saw some, along with the Wolves offense being so good, that it didn't matter! facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com
This show was going to focus around the frustrations of "Planned Rest", but when D'Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley and co. took care of business against arch Nemesis Jimmy Butler the way they did, we had to center the show more around that! We hear from Tahae's takes on the air once again, and he doesn't disappoint! facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion Send Audio Submissions to: paladinolive@yahoo.com
The Minnesota Timberwolves are a heck of a lot more fun to watch, especially against the Clippers, but the third and fourth quarters have continued to plague the club, regardless who is suiting up on a nightly basis. facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com
Oh my goodness was this past week a whirlwind of epic proportions! Gerson Rosas and the Timberwolves front office had to have been working around the clock for months to consummate what they did in the past 48 hours. Rosas and co traded away five players one night, and two days later parted ways with the much debated Andrew Wiggins, which finally lead to their ultimate prize of acquiring the man they have chased for six months, D'Angelo Russell. Gorgui Gieng was the seventh player traded this week and ninth in the past month, which has virtually reset this roster going forward
In this much larger than normal episode,we go hardcore into one of the most frustrating and phenomenal statistics in NBA history, that the Timberwolves were on the EMBARRASSING side of! We also add a segment 1.5 to honor Kobe Bryant after his untimely death on January 26, 2020. facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com
The Timberwolves had a very frustrating week, as their losing streak has now reached seven games. Ryan Saunders finally had enough, and blew up at the team during halftime after a lackluster first half in Chicago. Andrew Wiggins continues to be an enigma, and your host now has a new nickname for him to add to the list. facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com Now also on TuneIN Radio!
The Minnesota Timberwolves made their first of what might be multiple trades in the coming weeks and months, moving Jeff Teague and Treveon Graham to Atlanta, for Allen Crabbe, a name we've mentioned a few times the past year or so. Andrew Wiggins has dropped back into the doldrums of last year, and many are wondering when Ryan Saunders will truly take the reins of this team. facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com
The Minnesota Timberwolves continued solid play this past week, and the ongoing question is, what will happen to Gorgui Dieng when KAT finally returns? Your host gives you his opinion on that, resoundingly! facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com
In this slightly longer than normal episode, Joey has a lot to say about the much improved play of the Timberwolves and certain players that have surprised him a bit. Your host then goes down memory lane about former NBA Commissioner David Stern at the end of the show. facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com
The Minnesota Timberwolves losing streak reached eleven games before ending it by the skin of their teeth in Sacramento California. What is Newark Basketball? Listen and find out! facebook.com/timberwolvesexplosion @wolvesexplosion paladinolive@yahoo.com
