The Cuckoo's Nest (in G; influenced by Ed Haley and Irish version) I knew the Cuckoo's Nest in D and when I got the Haley Recordings, I started playing something derived from that version, in G. I had stopped playing Irish music on the tin whistle during that time period while I was still working. When I retired and started attending Irish sessions, I learned the Irish version in the key of G. Now that version has three parts and the second and third ones are those that are in Haley's version. So here is my first purposeful attempt (though I have thought of doing this for quite a few years) to ?old timeyize? the first part. The whistle version follows.
