There is a lot of buzz and chatter about a new reality, paradigm shifts, Mayan 2012 end time prophesies and consciousness shifts. The truth of the matter is that NO ONE present on the planet right now has the total answer...and that's a GOOD thing actually otherwise what is to come wouldn't be "new" at all. There are a lot of interesting theories out there and there are definitely people who are receiving visions and spiritual guidance which some have chosen to share with the rest of us. What we want to do this segment is frame a picture in the mind's eye of exactly what the so called new reality would look like...to YOU. I've invited several people I know who in my opinion have offered as best it is possible a body of research and put forth their own theory which will give the audience something to THINK ABOUT on their own which is PART of what a new reality would feature. Some of my guests over the next few shows have been on before and some may offer something that may be unsettling to some of the listeners. The point here is that only YOU can decide for yourself what reality you'll want to be a part of. We are all co-creators of our lives and gaining your power means taking responsibility for your own thoughts and perceptions. My guests will offer you a chance to think outside the norm, whether you agree with them or not which is where your path to enlightenment should begin...in your OWN mind. That is truly the Imagination at work. No one is going to do the work for you and as evident by the current status of the world, when left to others to plan and execute THEIR vision on you it could mean they plan to execute YOU. A future is coming, no doubt about that. What future? Let's frame it up shall we...

This Week I have as my special guest on the Soul, musician and producer Billy Osborne, brother of Jeffrey Osborne and original member of the soul funk band LTD. LTD was one of the premier R&B bands back in the day. They brought us the tunes like Love Ballad, Back In Love Again, Concentrate on You, Jam, Stranger, Where Did We Go Wrong, and April Love just to name a few. Billy Osborne along with his brother J.O. were in part responsible for that LTD music we all came to enjoy. When Jeffrey went on to pursue a solo career Billy continued to work and would produce a lot of the hits for some of the bands that were actually LTD's 'competition ' back then as well as a host of other familiar names in soul music, r& b, and pop. He wrote several of the songs on Ray Charles album "Thanks for bringing love around again". What a lot of people don't know is that B. Osborne was a good singer in his own right singing some of the vocals for many of LTD's songs as well as the fact his son has taken up the legacy of producer/artist as well. We'll get a chance to talk to Billy and find out what's new in the Billy Osborne world. He has some new projects he's working on as well as some candid insights into what happened to soul music and where he sees things going.

I am pleased to welcome a talented jazz, neo-soul singer to this weeks segment of the NytFlight, Lori Jenaire. Lori has been compared to the legendary songstress the late Phyllis Hyman which is quite a compliment. I would say Lori definitely would remind the listener of Phyllis on some of her tracks. I would also say that Ms Jenaire has a unique style and flavor all of her own with a refreshing non-too-common style and a smooth vocal delivery that will leave you wanting to hear more.
