Stephen Came by months (and months and months) ago just before Pet Genius was formed, and gave us a peek at what he was working on. Now you get to hear it too. And yes, he magically plays drums and guitar on a couple of songs.

He stopped by during a solo tour, but we got him to accompany himself through the magic of overdubs. We’re back from our longest-ever break. Nice to be back. We’ve been busy. It was Andy’s birthday. Oh, and we got married. Oh yeah, and Jen got a new kidney. No, seriously. Former Officer May frontman and current Viva Viva co-frontman Chris Warren threw together a band at the last minute to stop by and work out some tunes. And work them out they did. The Everyday Visuals are smack dab in the middle of an incredible lineup tongiht at the Middle East – it’s them, Cassavettes, Magic Magic, and Girls Guns and Glory for GGG’s CD release show! Sorry for the lack of an intro or photo/video – we’re rushing to get this kickass session up!

In our first attempt to post video, Kid:Nap:Kin showed us their quiet side. Who knew!? Their CD release party is this Thursday at TT’s.

Wow, episode 100. That’s a lot. OK, enough fanfare. The Half Nelsons came in about a year ago, totally rocked the mini-kit, and promptly broke up mere weeks later. So here’s a posthumous release to let you know what you missed. I’m sure we’ll be hearing some great new projects from these talented chaps. Also, their pure rockitude resulted in a warp of the time-space continuum, pictured above.
