Summary: Since 2008, we have interviewed some of the best contemporary jazz artists in the business. Al Jarreau, Joe Sample, Brian Culbertson, Stanley Clarke, Gerald Albright and Boney James to name a few. We’ve introduced you to up and coming artists like keyboardist/producer extraordinaire Nicholas Cole, saxophonists BK Jackson, Adrian Burse, Vincent Ingala, and Elizabeth Mis, guitarist Sheldon Ferguson, Sweden’s keyboardist Jonathan Fritzen and more. International artists, keyboardist Wayne Brown (UK), saxophonist Otoe (Japan), saxophonist Candy Dulfer (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), guitarist Fabio Mignola (Switzerland) and Helen Rogers (UK). I went on an amazing cruise sailing from Rome, Italy, porting in Mykonos, Greece, Messina, Italy and Athens, Greece.  Artists included Brian Culbertson, saxophonist Elan Trotman, Gerald & Selina Albright, trumpeter Gabriel Johnson, eukele player Jake Shimabukuro, and so many more. It was not my first cruise but it was my first Dave Koz cruise and my first time out of the U.S.  It was a wonderful experience!

Talking Smooth Jazz welcomes R&B singer Marc Staggers whose unique and soulful style is  reminiscent of Luther Vandross.  Marc’s first R&B album "Then and Now" represents a return to "Old School" and contemporary R&B that all music lovers of R&B will undoubtedly appreciate. His newest project “Back to Soul” features Marc and actor Tico Wells of the Five Heartbeats (choir boy), performing the classic R&B remake of the late Luther Vandross and Gregory Hines hit song, There's Nothing Better Than Love.
