Week 22 results of the Turkish Super League are reviewed. Week 21 results of the Turkish Super League are reviewed. the schedule for week 22 is given a rundown, which features the Galatasaray-Besiktas derby. There isn't much in terms of news this week, but the guys do review the 1st leg of the Europa League round of 32 tie between Juventus and Trabzonspor.

In this episode of Kicking it with Raphael, I welcomed on ESPN FC and Bleacher Report Christopher Atkins to discuss all the latest news in Asian football and to go over a list of young players who are set to shine. We also took a look back at the transfer window. Next on the program was football write and editor LaLigaUk Paul Wilkes. Paul and I spoke about Atletico Madrid poor form lately and examined all the top 6 teams in La Liga and all the interesting story lines. There's also a quick rundown of the results of the final day of Turkish Cup group stage games. The main point of discussion this week concerns the week 20 match between Sivasspor and Fenerbahce. The focus centers on the performance of referee Yunus Yildirim, and the guys debate the controversy surrounding his refereeing in the match.

Results of the penultimate matchday of the Turkish Cup group stages are also reviewed. News this week regards Cenk Tosun's move to Besiktas from Gaziantepspor, which will occur at the end of this season; a discussion on Elazigspor's Pape Sow receiving a direct red card while getting treatment for any injury, and Turkish Football Federation chairman Yildirim Demiroren suggesting that the Turkish Super League foreigner cap might change if all eighteen clubs petition the TFF to do so.

This week on Kicking it with Raphael, Ben Mittelman, Israel's Channel 2 News Sports Correspodent came on to talk discuss how the people and media of Israel have reacted to the whole Anelka affair. In addition Ben and I spoke about the future of Israeli football and a few players to keep an eye out for. Next on was Marc Serber from Fox Sports to analyze the latest transfer window! The main news topic discuss in the loaning of Bruma of Galatasaray (who happens to be out for the season with an ACR tear) to Gaziantepspor. With the Turkish Court of Appeals making their ruling on the match fixing cases, this topic is discussed in detail, mainly concentrating on Fenerbahce chairman Aziz Yildirim.

If you were ever interested in the finance aspect of football you will love this segment. Next I welcomed on Portuguese football expert Tom Kundert, a Portuguese football/soccer expert and editor of portugoal.net . Tom and I discussed all the biggest football news out of Portugal and Tom gave me a couple of names that we should keep an eye on.
