 Mad About Futbol vol. 16 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:00

If you are a person that usually listens to the Mad About Futbol Show alongside our kid; not a good idea today. Juan was cautiously over the moon as Colombia took a step closer to the World Cup yet he believed that there was a long ways to go. George and Mike also praised Los Cafeteros and the job that José Pekerman as well as teams such as Ecuador and Venezuela. They also talked about the precarious situation being faced by Uruguay as well as Chile as their respective forms have slumped siginificantly. That, plus the guys' impressions on the US national team. For starters, they aren't as alarmed and think that expectations are just a little too high for Jürgen Klinsmann's men. Also the controversy on whether the lack of form is a problem stemming from the coach or is it an issue that is a creation from the system and the way things are being done in US Soccer still. Of course this is all stemming from the 2-1 win the US fought for in their trip to Antigua. Despite all the criticisms, the US national team came out with some positives and are now a point away fro qualifying to the hexagonal. The opinions are a bit heated but at the same time the guys do their best to give the best information as well as try to give as many different perspectives to the subjects that are being talked about during this show. All this plus fantasy football, colorblindness, y-chromosome length, and who is a "real" Miami Hurricane in this Sweet 16 edition of Mad About Futbol.
