We talk about bad plastic surgery and the fact that she doesn’t know the difference between “Star Trek” and Star Wars.” Also the perfect kids show, “Unicorn Transformers.” Next week I’ll interview the head of the Razzies about the nominations and a writer from the Oscars will hopefully tell us the unused jokes and behind the scenes. If you have any questions to ask, email me. I’ll ask. I’m not afraid. Just watch me. I didn’t get to do the other interviews this week b/c I’m shooting this show on Friday (behind the camera stuff) and last weekend was the 12 annual Sci-fi fest at Jeffy’s house. I’ll have a behind the scenes show about it in a couple of weeks. We discuss who these people are and why 45-year-old women loved Clay Aiken. Lots of face lifts.   We also discuss, Nicko’s Jewish boyfriend and Adam Sandler’s “Jack & Jill.”

Explosions, running, male half shirts, the worst Witness protect and tons of model side boob. Maz talks also talks about trying to break the mold of typecast and Judith lives to tell about a recent audition where she literally choked. This is a listener request.  “Logan’s Run” with That Chris Gore | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 24:58

Chris Gore (From every podcast on itunes) picked “Logan’s Run” as  his second favorite guilty pleasure movie. It’s great. Good plot, very cheesy effects (well models and toy trains) and tissue box robots. Apparently in the future, there are no bras. Gore is his hilarious self as he talks about the history of the film and his favorite parts. This is the last part of a two hour interview we did a while back. This is the turkey sandwich after Thanks Giving. The best part in between some fresh bread. Listen before that red dot tells you to die! No more Gore..Actually we might tape a new show next Tuesday. Send us a recommendation. Next week is a slightly longer show with TV’s Frank from MST3000. We’ll talk about “Valley of the Dolls.” Go to  our facebook page to leave a comment.     His first favorite guilty pleasure movie?  Click here. (sfw)

 Neil Breen’s “I Am Here…. Now” w/ @AdamFelber | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 31:31

Neil Breen’s (“Pass Thru”) second film is actually called “I Am Here….Now” (trailer below). It’s fantastic from the moment you notice the error in the title. In the title! This is a crazy movie. It opens with Jesu not Jesus coming from outer space in a paper weight (yep) to stop corruption and literally lay with a prostitute. Also this movie has an environmental message. This is one of the crazier movies we’ve reviewed on this show. Judith Benezra (TV’s Chuck) and Adam Felber (Radio’s NPR) guest review and HATE this movie. I loved every second. Watch the movie below. Here’s the plot from the Neil Breen movie on IMDB – “Disappointed by its creation, the almighty being that created Man arrives on Earth in a human form and interacts with various troubled, wicked and sinful people on his journey to Vegas.” . Here’s Neil Breen’s bio from Wiki: Neil Breen is an American film actor, architect, director and writer. He is best known for writing, directing, and starring in his self-produced films Fateful Findings, I Am Here…Now, and Double Down.[1] Breen came late to film-making, having previously worked as a real estate agent and architect.[2][3] His releases thus far have been considered cult films.[4][5][6] Breen did not attend film school and considers himself to be a low-budget filmmaker who is not a part of Hollywood‘s “insider’s group.”[3] He makes his living as an architect in Las Vegas and funds his films from the money he makes from that profession.[1][3] He has noted that there is a common misconception that he is a real estate agent; according to Breen, he earned a real estate license, but only briefly worked as a real estate agent.[3] Breen’s films tend to pit his morally upstanding protagonists against powerful institutions.[1] He says that his films have a “sense of social responsibility” and reflect the “mystical or paranormal side of life.”[3] Breen gained notoriety after his first film, Double Down, became a part of Netflix‘s library.[5] Since then, his films have been picked up by arthouse theaters and film festivals, including the 2012 “Butt-Numb-A-Thon.

Chris Gore returns to give the history of The Planet of the Apes movies and his shocking opinion of the “Rise of the Planet of the Apes.” Plus, he reveals the secret of being a TV expert. And the Zach Galifianakis sketch that almost happened. Chris Gore is on G4’s “Attack of the Show” doing DVD reviews. He’s also the star of his own podcast where he replays interviews he did on other shows. Including this one. Come to think of it, don’t listen to this show, wait for it to be on “Podcrash with That Chis Gore.” Actually, listen to this show. it’s short. Under 30 minutes. That’s because I interviewed Chris for almost two hours and cut it up into three shows. The next one is the last one. We discuss “Logan’s Run” on the next installment of the Gore Tapes. He came into talk about Logan’s Run, but he gotta talking and I gotta taping.

Nicko & the Worst Sitcom of the Year | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 24:29

ABC’s sitcom “Work It” has been called the worst show on TV in years. They made it and put it on air. So Nicko and I were planning on reviewing the show, and then they cancelled it. UGH! Now you have taste, ABC? Caleb Bacon, Paul Goebel, Paul Sullivan and my brother Mike Spiegelman call to leave their opinions about the doomed show and plug their projects. Sullivan makes a great point that the show starts with a reference to “The Accused.” A rape joke that refers to a movie from 20 years ago. Here we are comparing who has the worst TV, GB or USA. This podcast opens with Nicko and I trying to sync up our recordings. We’re supposed to count at the same time. Nicko can’t figure that out. Today is a short show because of technical problems. We will have more conversations with Nicko next time. You can watch the pilot for work it on Proudlyresents.com and comment on our Facebook page.

Megan Follows in “Shattered” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 55:15

Comedian Wayne Federman talks about the 80’s anti- drug film, “Shattered…if your kid’s on drugs.” The movie stars future and past stars like Megan Follows, a young Dermot Mulroney, a middle aged Burt Renoylds and Judd Nelson. You are court ordered to listen. Wayne also talks about performing stoned, unfair “mom and pop” stores, real peer pressure and much more. Wayne talked to the producer of this famed film and we get some behind the scenes dirt. Also, we find out that Megan Follows is famous. In the show I tell my war stories of working on MTV’s Spring Break. I promised pictures. I just moved so my scanner is not hooked up. I promise to have them up by next week or so. Heavy on the “or so.” Starting this Thursday, Wayne is having his own film festival with great comics like Gary Shandling, Margaret Cho and comedian Doug Benson. If you go, find Wayne and tell him you heard him on the show. Then ask him for a dollar. Worth a try.   Watch the movie and make comments on our Facebook page. While you are there share cult film screenings in your area.

 “Airport ’77” – A Bumpy Ride | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 51:18

“Airport ’77” (the year, not 77th sequel) is crashing into your ears! Big stars like Jack Lemmon, Jimmy Stewart, George Kennedy all sleep their way through this clunker. Christine Balckburn and Hannes Phinny from the podcast “Story Worthy” discuss this train wreck of an airplane crash To test the movie’s authenticity, we have a former steward…errr flight attendant. Sit back, relax and cash a large paycheck. Look out for a timely Brenda Vaccaro impression.

 .@dankois Talks Razzies. Nicko Visits. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 43:49

Former Grantland.com writer obsessed with the Razzies  & Nicko returns to insult – on this special show. Since he was a small child, Dan Kois wanted to go to the Razzies. He wanted to see great men and women get awards for terrible movies and films. All year he’s been covering the bad movie beat in Grantland. Dan gets on the horn to talk to us. Dan talks front-runners, the overlooked and what should be the over looked. Here’s our interview with the Head Razzie from last year. Then Nicko stops by to insult and run. I’ve been getting  a lot of requests to have her back on the show. We tried to do a live episode, but I couldn’t figure out how to make the thingie work. So it’s a hilarious self-indulgent 23 minutes of Nicko insulting me. It’s part one of our chat. Part 2-4 (all short) will arrive shortly. People asked for it, so I’m trying to leave in the whole conversation. She’s a hilarious. Take a second and post the episode to your twitter, facebook, digg or whatever you got. Everything counts. All make a big difference. Have a Happy New Year! Please leave your comments on our Facebook page.

Steven Seagal Chews Up Scenery and Pizza | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 33:19

Steven Seagal is “The Glimmer Man.” Keenen Ivory Wayans is the poor guy stuck as his partner. Emmy winner Chris Regan (“Shatner Rules”) and Local Emmy loser Paul Sullivan (Sullybaseball.com) were forced to watch this movie. They are back with a full report. I walked out of this movie when it came out. And I saw it on a plane. Hello. But listener and former guest Bucky Sinister suggested the film. I’m a man of my word… but shit man… what did I ever do to you? Seriously. Jeez. “The Gravy Man” was one of Seagal’s last chances at getting back in the movie game. His last chance to play a cop, before actually being one. But buddy cop films are not as easy as they seem. Stalone makes throwing out cool lines look effortless and Eddie Murphy can make any temper tantrum look funny. But it doesn’t mean any Tom, Dick and Henry Jaglom can just jump in squad car. There’s the good, the bad the ugly. “The Glimmer Man” is the bad. Here are the past reviews of the good and the ugly. You figure out which is which. CobraSamurai Cop (I know I promise Chris Gore and Logan’s Run. But Chris told me he couldn’t promote it until January, so I’m going to hold it for a couple of weeks. I have some great shows in the can, including guests like Wayne Federman, Sharon Houston, Nicko, and the guys from “Story Worthy.” I’m going to record “Hard Ticket to Hawaii” with Nicko this week and try to turn it around for next week.) Please write in your suggestions.

 “It’s A Wonderful Life” & History of Laemmle Theaters | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 39:17

Film blogger and bad movie expert, Sherilyn Connelly, bashes the holiest of holy, “It’s a Wonderful Life. Here’s Sherilyn’s review of her own appearance: “The Proudly Resents interview is up. If you listen closely, you can hear me waving my arms around as I extemporized like mad. I thought we were going to be talking more about the philosophy of Bad Movie Night and showing It’s a Wonderful Life, and I wasn’t expecting to have to come up with jokes on the spot about specific elements. Oh well. Still turned out okay.” That’s pretty on the nose, but you should listen anyway! Then a separate conversation with the owner of the Laemmle Theater chain in LA. They broke such films as “Swingers” and it was the first place to show “The Room” at midnight. But first, a bonus Chris Gore clip. Chris tells us how he gets dirty words past the censors on his G4 show, “Attack of the Show.”

 “Rocky IV” with @AdamFelber & @RicoGagliano | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown
