 Don't Let It Go Unheard | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:01:00

Weekly live webcast/podcast devoted to discussion of news and politics from the perspective of Objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand. Hosted by Amy Peikoff.   Topics: "Occupy Black Friday" -- Why was it a failure? And were Tea Party groups right to promote "Small Business Saturday" as a response? (Hint: I argue they weren't, even though they had the right to do so.) Bosch spoke on a panel at David Horowitz's Restoration Weekend, in which the topic of discussion was what terms we should use when referring to the enemy's ideology -- "Islam" or "Islamism." (The panel, along with numerous discussions on this topic, inspired me to write this blog post earlier this week.) We discuss the issue, and get your input. The GOP Foreign Policy Debate: What we learned about the candidates, and why Newt Gingrich's supposed gaffe on immigration just wasn't that bad. A brief discussion of the NBA Lockout and the power of the player's union. Thanks to all who attended live and participated in the chat room. And to the caller who had sound problems: please try again next week!

Weekly live webcast/podcast devoted to discussion of news and politics from the perspective of Objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand. Hosted by Amy Peikoff. Topics: Does the sheer number of Cain accusers mean that we should think there must be something to the allegations? How did the candidates perform in the debates this week? Who is your favorite at this point? For whom could you tolerate voting? Should we hope for gridlock instead? Is there yet another truly horrible provision of Obamacare, one that might also make it unconstitutional? Why have comments about Occupy Wall Street by cartoonist Frank Miller caused such a stir?

Weekly live webcast/podcast devoted to discussion of news and politics from the perspective of Objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand. Hosted by Amy Peikoff. Topics for Sunday: Will we or Israel strike Iran's nuclear sites? Can Obamacare's constitutionality be successfully challenged on *Spending Clause* grounds? What's happening in Greece, and how much does it represent the parody on SNL? Do Jesse Ventura's complaints about his case against the TSA being dismissed have any merit? Sorry for the problem in sound quality at the beginning!

 Don't Let It Go...Unheard | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:00:00

Weekly live webcast/podcast devoted to discussion of news and politics from the perspective of Objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand. Hosted by Amy Peikoff. Topics: Bulk of today's show devoted to the discussion of Steve Jobs biography written by Walter Isaacson, which I recommend. In the last part of the second hour we also discuss Occupy Wall Street's "rap sheet," the latest news from the Middle East, and Herman Cain.

Robert Spencer Interview | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:02:00

My interview with Robert Spencer, director of Jihad Watch and author of many books, including two New York Times bestsellers, The Truth About Muhammad and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades). Last year we read Mr. Spencer's Qur'an Commentary as a supplement to our reading of the Koran for our Koran Reading Group. Mr. Spencer answers a range of questions, from general observations about the poetic nature of the Koran, to discussion and interpretation of specific passages of it–including those that call for the use of violence against non-Muslims and require women to produce four witnesses in order to prove that they were raped.
