Our guest today is Jeremy Frank PhD CAC, harm reduction therapist in Philadelphia. Dr. Frank is also past Coordinator of Campus Alcohol and Substance Awareness at Temple University and past Assistant Director of Student Health and Counseling at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.  

Our guest this evening is Dr. Lala Straussner, director of the NYU Silver School of Social Work post-master certificate program in the Clinical Approaches to Addictions. Dr. Straussner is editor or author of numerous books, including Children of Substance-Abusing Parents: Dynamics and Treatment, The Handbook of Addiction Treatment For Women: Theory and Practice, Ethnocultural Factors in the Treatment of Addictions, and Gender and addictions: Men and women in treatment.

Our guest this evening is Neill Neill Ph. D., author of Living with a Functioning Alcoholic: A Woman’s Survival Guide. Dr. Neill will be dispelling many myths about alcohol and alcoholism as well as offering practical tips for what to do with a spouse whose drinking is a problem.  

Our guest today is Alexandra Stein, author of the book Inside Out: A Memoir of Entering and Breaking Out of A Minneapolis Political Cult and the doctoral dissertation Attachment, Networks and Discourse in Extremist Political Organizations: A Comparative Case Study. We will be discussing disorganized attachment and trauma bonding in cults and how this differs from healthy bonding in non-cults.

 Our guest is Libertarian Vice Presidential Candidate Judge Jim Gray who will be discussing the federal raids on California Medical Marijuana dispensaries and the failed war on drugs. Judge Gray is the author of the book Why Our Drug Laws Have Failed: A Judicial Indictment Of War On Drugs.
