Dr. Popper serves on the Physician’s Steering Committee for the Physicians’ Committee for Responsible Medicine and she appears in the acclaimed film, Forks Over Knives, about diet and health. Dr. Popper says that "People are very concerned about cancer – the incidence of cancer is going up rather than down, and there has been no change in the death rate from metastasized cancer.  So, preventing cancer is the key, and many are confused about what really causes cancer."
