Tonight we're talking about heroes - big damn heroes at that. These are people like Alan Gura, one of the lawyers on the DC vs. Heller case. Breda and I will talk about our examples, and take call ins from people with their examples!
One of the more interesting experiences to come out of the past few weeks was the NRA Annual meetings, and NRA's interaction with bloggers there and at Bianchi Cup. We're going to talk to NRA about their push to new media, as well as take calls from bloggers on the power that new media holds for growing the shooting sports.
Joining us for tonight's show will be Rob Pincus of ICE Training - one of the more innovative self defense training schools out there. Rob will be talking about his shooting system, and other self defense topics.
Tonight's show is coming to you live from the West Coast, as Breda hosts from Arizona. She should be joined by Kevin Baker of the Smallest Minority to wrap up the NRA Annual Meetings/2ABlogBash. Hopefully I'll be able to call in with a live Bianchi Cup update.
Our very own Breda will be attending the NRA Annual Meetings and 2A Blog Bash coming up next week, so we're going to dedicate tonight's show to tht topic. Attendees from last year's BlogBash/Annual meetings are encouraged to call in and share their experience!
Joining us tonight will be a representative from the Steel Challenge to talk about the sport, as well as their new initiative, the Scholastic Steel Challenge.
Since you the listeners asked for in the recent poll, we're going to give you what you want - a show where we take on and bust common self defense myths!
Tonight's show, we're going to be discussing the recent Tea Parties that were held nationwide, in protest to rampant government spending. If you attended a Tea Party, please call in and join us with your thoughts and opinions.
Tonight's show will be on the extremely important topic of self defense training. We'll be talking with shooting, and martial arts instructors about various tactics and techniques that we can train on for self-defense.
Caleb is off this week, enjoying Indiana's law that allows concealed carry in State Parks, so your humble host for this evening's show will be the one and only Breda. If you're interested in an hour free from Caleb, tune in tonight!
Tonight's show should be fun - we're going to be talking about some of the all time best "gun books", movies, and other types of gun related media. Bring your own favorites and share them with the group!
Tonight we'll be joined by Julie Goloski, member of Smith & Wesson's pro team of shooters. She will be sharing her insight on the shooting sports, as well as the balance of being a top level professional shooter and a wife and mother.
Programming note: Instead of talking to and about AHSA, tonight's show is going to focus on the recent DoD rule change which now mandates that all once fired brass be "de-milled", or destroyed before being sold. This will have a strong impact on the shooting market, as once-fired brass was both a major profit generator for the DoD as well as a heavily used component by companies such as Georgia Arms.
Tonight's show will focus further on the issue of open carry, including audio from a recent encounter than an Ohioan, who was legally open carrying at the time, had with local law enforcement. Don't miss it!
Friday marks the 173rd anniversary of the fall of the Alamo to the Army of Santa Anna. Today, as gun owners, there are many lessons that we can take on a political front from the battle of the Alamo, and the eventual liberation of Texas from Mexico.
