Golf - European Tour Race to Dubai Show

This week Robert Lee and John Hawksworth look back at the Andalucia Valderrama Masters where Graeme McDowell notched another European Tour win in what has been a remarkable year for the Irishman. We hear from McDowell, as well as joint runners up Gareth Maybin and Soren Kjeldsen. We also hear from the new World Number One Lee Westwood who ended Tiger Woods 281 week reign at the top of the rankings and from German Martin Kaymer who just missed out on the honour himself. With just three more events remaining until the season ending Dubai World Championship, with the help of a former winner there David Howell, we look ahead to the star studded WGC-HSBC Champions Event in China where the top four in the world will be battling it out for that coveted number one spot. Plus our Tip of the Week this week comes from Gary Boyd.

This week Robert Lee and Ross McFarlane reflect on an historic maiden win for the Italian teenager Matteo Manassero at the Castello Masters in Spain where he became the youngest winner in European Tour history. We hear from the 17 year old, from Gary Boyd after another top ten finish and from the tournament host Sergio Garcia. We hear from the delighted Spaniard who secured his European Tour playing privileges for next season with the victory, as well as runner up Lynn, and third placed Graeme McDowell. And with the Ryder Cup less than two weeks away we also hear McDowells thoughts on the impending trip to Celtic Manor.
