The Oakland Raiders will not extend the contract of Tom Cable for the position of Head Coach. Punter Shane Lechler has played for the Raiders since 2000. The Oakland Raiders have signed 6 players who finished the 2010 season on the Silver and Black’s practice squad to reserve/future contracts. The Oakland Raiders have signed five more players to reserve/future contracts including four players who previously played for the Silver and Black. The 76th NFL Draft will be held on April 28-30 at Radio City Music Hall in New York, and will begin in primetime for the second year in a row. The Panthers own the No. 1 pick of the 2011. The NFL Draft will kick off in prime time for the second consecutive year. The first round will be held on Thursday, April 28. The second and third rounds are set for Friday, April 29. Rounds 4-7 will be held on Saturday, April 30. Coat drive: The Raiders and Goodwill Industries will hold a coat drive when the Silver and Black take on the Indianapolis Colts at the Oakland-Alameda Coliseum on Sunday. Raider fans are asked to bring coats — and drop them off in bins located at gates C and D — to benefit those served by Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay.
