Steve Yee, Chris Warren and Tony Phillippi are also known as the Main Maniacs. They started the world famous Marathon Maniac organization and they recently came to the 2012 Surf City Marathon. We did a sit down interview at the expo and talked about the Maniacs, the new Marathon Maniac book, the growth of running, the Half Fanatics and much more

The 2012 Surf City Marathon was perfect. Perfect day, perfect course, perfect organization. Come out to the expo and race course with Joe and hear all the sights and sounds of this remarkable event. We'll talk to the runners, the volunteers and the surfers. You'll meet some inspirational first time runners, visit with a woman who fell badly, hear a celebration about Fig Newtons and you'll relive a fantastic finish, plus much, much more.

The inaugural 2012 Tinker Bell Half Marathon was January 29, 2012 in Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. About 10,000 women and 900 lucky men ran this remarkable race. Along the way we'll meet many of the Disney characters, hear stories about first time runners, meet one cheer squad that doesn't know any cheers and run 13 miles with a mob of people all dressed up in Disney costumes. It was a great day.

The 2012 Carlsbad Marathon was an amazing race. The weather was perfect as we ran along the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Carlsbad, CA. Listen in as we hear about some new products, meet some amazing runners and share all the sights and sounds of the race.

Leah Thorvilson ran in the 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials in Houston, TX on January 14, 2012 and she's on The Marathon Show to talk about her amazing experience running against America's finest. The 2011 Las Vegas Rock 'n' Roll Marathon has generated a great deal of discussion.  The corral start, the merge between half and full marathon runners, the water, the post race crowd control and the awarding of medals are just some of the topics that people wanted to talk about. The 2011 Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Marathon was not perfect for many runners. We'll talk with the CEO of the Competitor Group about the problems many runners encountered and what caused these issues. Turkey Trots are famous in the U.S. on Thanksgiving.  The Dana Point Turkey Trot is one of America's longest running Turkey Trots and we went and ran the 10K and the 5K.  With the Pacific Ocean as our backdrop we talk with an amazing disabled athlete, the youngest "Half Fanatic" in America, welcome back our favorite Marine from deployment, laugh about some of the funny things we hear, plus paint a great picture of a beautiful course.  

The 11-11-11 Marathon of Sarasota was an awesome event. We meet many old friends and marathon celebrities as we run 26.2.
