Over the past 7 days we've been competing with Marathon Talk and their audience in a photo competition. We'll count down the clock, talk about the contest and update on other fun topics

What do you do at an expo? You visit vendors, hear about other races, listen to speakers. We will wander through a virtual expo today, plus we will take your calls at the end of the show.

We went to the 2011 Surf City Marathon and broadcast a show while running the race. You'll hear from runners, exhibitors and race officials from the expo. Then we'll go out and run 26.2 miles, comment on the magnificent course, the events as they unfold and talk to runners along the way. It was a fantastic race with a fantastic number of friends from the show

What if you were running a race and a runner went down in front of you? Greg Goebel was the runner down and thanks to the quick work of other runners, he's recovering and back on track to begin running again. Greg is on The Marathon Show to talk about his experience, recovery and lessons learned about CPR, heart rate monitors, social networking and his many friends.

The Super Bowl winning 1985 Chicago Bears are legendary. Matt Suhey, the fullback of the 1985 Bears team, joins The Marathon Show to break down this year's game, talk about the 1985 Bears as well as many other fun topics. It's a rare interview from one of Chicago's favorite athletes.

Has running changed your life? At one point in your life did you ever swear you could never run a marathon? Our Runners Chat panel will talk about their amazing journey to become runners and their amazing weight loss through running. Join Valerie Fambrough, Robyn Glaser Goldstein and Valerie Zink as they talk about what motivated them to make a life change, when they thought of themselves as runners and what advice they have for people who don't think they can take up running. This will be an inspirational and motivating show for runners and non-runners of all abilities.

Joe took his microphone into the race while he ran the 2011 Carlsbad Marathon. You'll meet new friends, hear from some old friends and hear all the funny things that happen in a race. Be prepared to be inspired by some of the courageous people Joe meets and celebrate their fantastic accomplishment. You'll experience the finish line in real time and you'll hear Joe share the race microphone and talk to the crowd thanks to Rudy Novotny. You will certainly enjoy this.

It's the British invasion! Not the Beatles. Marathon Talk in the U.K. is a hugely popular broadcast hosted by Martin Yelling and Tom Williams. Tom is on The "American" Marathon Show to talk about running in the UK, his worldwide audience and other fun running topics.

Steve Walters makes hundreds of runners famous every month. He volunteers his time to write the Marathon Maniac newsletter. Steve sees and hears about all your experiences then reports on them with this very popular monthly newsletter. Steve is on the show to talk about the newsletter, his running experiences and a special race he is hosting in 2011.

ndoor marathons are a big trend. The Icebreaker Indoor marathon in Milwaukee, WI is one of them. Race director Chris Ponteri is on the show to talk about his 2011 race scheduled for the weekend of January 21-23. You'll hear about the fun and excitement of these intriguing races. 12:00 noon eastern, 9:00 am pacific and 17:00 GMT

The Hood to Coast marathon relay is the setting for a soon to be released movie, "Hood to Coast." The movie is set to be released on January 11, 2011 in studios nationwide. Director and producer, Christoph Baaden is on the show to talk about his movie and this remarkable race.
