Are you under the influence? Positive or negative influences will effect each of our lives. A good influence will be true, noble, right and praiseworthy. Think on these things. Focus on God and let Him be your influence. The fact is He loves you.
Life is a series of lessons. We need to make each day cont and learn from each lesson. God makes a trial beautiful, the minute we yield to Him. Keep your eyes on spiritual things. Patience is a rewardable act.

How do you measure your maturity? Are you still on milk or the meat of the world? Start living with the same gusto you did in the world as a Christian. Don't misrepresent God at the workplace. Pray for better Christlike skillls.

We've all heard the song that goes "I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart...," but has that joy gotten so far down in your heart that it is no longer visible? As Christians, we've been given joy as one of the fruits of the Spirit. However, in this challenging study on the word joy, Pastor Bob reminds us that if we're not eating of that fruit, or sharing it, it may just go soft on us.
What does it mean to be holy? We use that word to describe lots of things: holy grail, holy water, holy ground, holy matrimony, etc. As humans, we revere things and call them holy, but ultimately, only God can make something holy, and what He chooses to make holy is not any "thing," but us. One day Christ, through His sacrifice, will present us holy before our Father in Heaven.

Since we as humans are so prone to lying, we need the truth in our lives to keep us on course. With Christ in us, we can think, speak and walk in truth, resulting in peace, improvement, and celebration.
Psalm 24 tells us that the earth and everything in it belongs to God. That includes everything we have. Our resources (possessions or "stuff"), abilities (talents), time, and even our trials are not really ours to do with as we please. They are things God loans to us to teach us something important. A faithful steward sees everything he or she has as a gift from God and manages it in a way that honors Him.
