Summary: What does it mean to be holy? We use that word to describe lots of things: holy grail, holy water, holy ground, holy matrimony, etc. As humans, we revere things and call them holy, but ultimately, only God can make something holy, and what He chooses to make holy is not any "thing," but us. One day Christ, through His sacrifice, will present us holy before our Father in Heaven.
