Pub Songs, Celtic Christmas and Gunn Runner Community #124 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 25:35

It was another busy week. I'm still at work on two CDs: Scottish Songs of Drinking & Rebellion and A Celtic Christmas. Both are nearing completion. I have one more song to finish mixing for the Scottish CD and I'm getting ready to send the Christmas album to the printers. It was fully funded on Kickstarter as of yesterday. This is a huge triumph for me. My compilation CDs are incredible tools for promoting indie Celtic bands. And I am SO happy to be able to help these bands receive greater attention. If we raise enough money, I plan to hire a publicist to give the album even more attention. The other great thing about this compilation is that it will also be used to raise money for both the podcast and Celtic non-profits. I've given away over $15K to Celtic non-profits since I started producing compilation CDs. I'm extremely excited to have such a fine compilation that will raise even more money every Christmas. Thank you for all your help! News Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Burn Notice Season 6 and 7 A Celtic Christmas is fully funded $5700 to first stretch goal, which includes a one-year membership to Song Henge. Album cover is now posted.  Sea Shanties and Monday Morning Update #123 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 13:08

In an effort to keep the Pub Songs Podcast on its weekly schedule, I decided to release a show today. This one has no corresponding video, sadly. I'm kinda swamped with mixing and mastering CDs. So I decided to do the quickest show possible to stay on schedule and still do everything else I need to get done. Stay subscribed for more Live shows in the future.  DragonCon with Sci Fi Drinking Songs Live #122 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 54:32

Once again, DragonCon ended with a bang and a live Pub Songs Podcast by yours truly. The con was wild and crazy fun, as has always been typical with reunions of the Brobdingnagian Bards. That's what the weekend was all about for me. However, this was my only solo show and as always a great way to end the con. Music: "Isn't It Grand, Boys (to be Walking Dead)" "Monahan's Mudder's Milk" "It's Good to Have Jayne on Your Side" "Don't Go Drinking With Hobbits" "Lord of the Pounce" "Danny Boy (Cat version)" "Wherever I May Roam" "Doctor of Gallifrey" "Close Your Eyes" "Wild Mountain Thyme" "Zombie Love Song" "Come Take a Trip in My Airship"

 Preparing for DragonCon 2013 #121 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 26:25

We are just two days away from the big Invasion of DragonCon 2013. This year, I will be performing with the Brobdingnagian Bards for a weekend of Celtic Renaissance insanity. You never what's gonna happen. In preparation, I decided to record another Pub Songs Podcast live on Google Hangouts. I am thrilled to report that the sounds issues that haunted the last two podcasts are resolved. I used my Edirol digital recorder to capture his podcast recording while my computer managed the video recording to YouTube. This meant, I had good sound and as good video as I can get. The next show won't be released on Google Hangouts, I don't think... But it will be coming live from DragonCon as I perform the last concert of the convention at 2:30pm in the Podcast Track. I hope to see you there!  Early Biography of The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem #120 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 30:53

Today's show is dedicated to The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem. If you love Celtic music and you're not familiar with the group, you're missing out. They are one of the reasons Gunns & Drums is recording an album called "How America Saved Irish Music". They're a shining example. Once again, the show is suffering from some technical difficulties. I hope you will bare with me as I work out all of the details to offer you an awesome live show. This audio recording is filled with clicks. The alternative is you can listen to the show on YouTube, however, the audio quality there is horrible too. So pick one and decide which is the lesser of two evils. Again, my apologies. I hoep you enjoy the show nonetheless. I will be back next Tuesday morning for the next live show. Oh! And if you have questions or comments, please post them in the shownotes, or on the YouTube channel. I want to hear your comments. You can also help me choose which song to play in the next show. I love to travel. That is reason I started my Celtic Invasion Vacations. I wanted to find a way to see the world. There is no better way to do it than with good food, good drink and great company. That's what my invasions are all about. Today's show talks a wee bit about my Celtic Invasion of the Highlands of Scotland. I reveal next year's invasion. I update you on my upcoming CDs.  Top Three Tips for New Parents, Plus Awesome Comedy Music from Manic Mondays #117 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 29:04

I keep planning on doing a YouTube video on my three pieces of advice for new parents, but I'm still not totally comfortable with quickly and easily recording videos. There's something that always keeps me from it. It's my own lack of confidence. But with eight years of recording audio podcasts, I figured I'll just go ahead and do an audio podcast and I'll record the video later. My Kickstarter campaign is a huge success. There are five days left in the campaign. I am $400 away from my second stretch goal. Thanks to everyone who pre-ordered this album and helped me hit the ball out of the park with this CD. Keep an eye open for TWO CDs of music from me in the future. Today's music is a departure from the norm. I found a bunch of brilliant comedy songs from Manic Mondays, a comedy podcast.
