She is an Author and founder of Modern Homemakers (formerly Homemakers By Choice), a national organization which offers weekly teaching for a new generation of "counter culture" women who have made the choice to stay at home. To hundreds of young homemakers, Donna has been the wise, fun, Godly Aunt every young woman wishes she had. A fascinating man, Dietrich Bonhoeffer was one of the most brilliant minds of the 20th century. He was an opponent of the Nazi regime, and was determined to stand up to Hitler. He wrote a book titled The Cost of Discipleship in 1936.
Society tells us one thing about how to be relevant and it often looks like something we know or do to prove ourselves. God wants us to see His perspective on being relevant as a wife, mother, and follower of Christ.
We can protect ourselves from trying to be remarkable and powerful by practicing confession and forgiveness, AND knowing God's Word. Donna gives us 4 attributes to knowing the Bible and having the mind of Christ.

The missionaries who Donna has been teaching about this year are who we should look to and learn about how to have a growing faith. They trusted in God daily to provide for them as they carried out God's work, serving wherever they were sent.
Donna talks about friends who, in addition to their 4 biological children, adopted 3 children because they believed that is what God called them to do. They walk by faith that God will always provide for their family.
Enough is defined as being satisfied. God has called us to know when enough is enough.
