Kelly is not only the longtime brewmaster for Heartland Brewing Company - not only the founder of Kelso Beer Company - but also the president of the New York City Brewers Guild. Tune in as the crew compares SF and NY Beer Weeks, hears Kelly story, plays a round of Find the Fake, and much more.

The Session broadcasts smack-dab in the middle of San Francisco Beer Week as the Brewcasters welcome Pizza Port Solana Beach head brewer Devon Randall to the studio. Tune in to catch her story from brewery grunt to brewing guru, and hear what it's like to call the shots at one of the premier breweries in San Diego County.

Were the Brewcasters crazy to attempt a broadcast a mere 48 hours removed from Winter Brews Festival? Perhaps. Were the beers from San Diego's Societe Brewing Company worth the sacrifice? You bet. This week, The Session welcomes the crew from Societe for a conversation about their fashion sense, the pronunciation of their name, and of course, their beers.

This week on The Session, founder Sergio Moutela of Melovino Meadery joins the Brewcasters to shed light on meadmaking as you've never seen it shed before. Get ready to think about mead in a whole new way as Sergio shares his story of opening New Jersey's first-ever meadery. And as if that were not enough...it's time for the 2014 Brewing Network Awards! The Session returns from winter break with Tony Magee, the founder of Lagunitas Brewing Company in Petaluma, California. Tune in and find out how, over the course of twenty years, Lagunitas has grown from a shoestring operation into the fifth largest (and fastest growing) craft brewery in the United States.

HO HO HO! It's The Session's Christmas show! This year, the crew from Oregon's Logsdon Farmhouse Ales joins the Brewcasters for some holiday revelry. Tune in and find out why Logsdon is putting the farm back into farmhouse beer. This Belgian-inspired brewery is producing some fantastic stuff - and there's plenty of it to go around as the crew talks organic brewing, oak-aging, and plays some good old-fashioned Christmas radio games.

This week on The Session, the Brewcasters are joined by Angela Steil, the world's youngest Cicerone. Don’t let this 21 year old's age fool you - she is beer-wise well beyond her years. This week, The Session is stoked to welcome Three Weavers Brewing Company to Studio ADD. Brewmaster and craft beer industry veteran Alexandra Nowell joins the Brewcasters to discuss her various roles at several legendary breweries, from Sierra Nevada to Moylan’s, Drake’s to Kinetic and beyond. She has built barrel-aging programs and won GABF medals. Is there anything she can't do? Tune in and find out.

The BN crew is back from GABF as Luke and Walt Dickinson of Wicked Weed Brewing Company join the Brewcasters in-studio all the way from Asheville, North Carolina. Still not quite two years old, Wicked Weed has already developed quite the reputation for itself, having brewed nearly 200 different styles so far and offering a lineup of stellar sour beers.

The parade of in-studio guests continues this week as Renaissance man Bill Owens heads to The Hop Grenade to join The Session. Tune in as the crew discusses his many talents, which includes his iconic photography, the founding of multiple breweries and the American Distilling Institute, as well as his newest venture, Owens and Sons Malt Company. This week on The Session, it's all about cask-conditioning...but instead of heading all the way across the pond in pursuit of the style, the Brewcasters decided to keep it local. Luckily, there's MacLeod Ale Brewing Company, a brand-spankin'-new craft brewery in the heart of the San Fernando Valley that's producing small batches of cask-conditioned British ales. The Session returns this week as Mike Johannsen from Schubros Brewery in San Ramon, California infiltrates the studio with Koen Hugelier from Hugel Brewing Company in Gullegem, Belgium.
