All clear for now in Okinawa, thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers. My friend neighbor Kalem who lives in the apartment above me is stranded at Narita airport in Tokyo and was there for all of the massive earthquakes. I was able to get him on the line via Skype to talk about his experience.
Look for new micro cast periodically throughout the day and the next day or so as my family and I await an imminent Tsunami and prepare for the high possibility of more earthquakes. I have gotten numerous emails and face book messages from listeners and friends checking on us and want you all to know that we are OK and have not yet been affected by the catastrophe that is happening on mainland. In this show I shared some elements of my plan and how I am and have prepared for this event. I also guiltily admit mistakes that I have only today realized I have made by not doing everything I could have to prepare.
In this episode I talked about getting into molding kydex. I forgot to mention how I sit on a C4 satchel charge crate to press the foam in order to mold the kydex to the shape of a knife. I also failed to mention that the bottle I was talking about for my wife was not only a beer bottle but also a baby’s bottle. I am sure you will get a kick out of that one.
Here is the 2nd part of my interview with Rob Pincus.
