The Cleansed: A Post-Apocalyptic Saga

"The River" - Part 3 of 4 A harrowing portion of the Penobscot River called "Crib works" lays before our heroes, a mighty force of nature that will test their mettle and bring their frail equipment to the brink.  Because even though they ride to face a monster of human making, the river plays no favorites and has no mercy. "The River" - Part 2 of 4 Maria wakes early in the morning and is spooked by John, who is contemplating the river.  A great journey awaits them, and there is eerie calm and tension before the storm.  The party must unite for the trials ahead. A war of words erupts between Saul and Paul - one on blaring television screens, and another through wind-up radios. As the sides clash for control over the minds of the people of Corinth, each hatches an idea to thwart the other once and for all. Meanwhile, John's party prepares for a dangerous descent of a raging river. Interpersonal conflict is squelched under the roar of nature. Six people descend in canoes, and only four stay in.

Part 4 of 4 Crime and punishment in Saul's army isn't pretty.  Lawrence approaches Saul, tail between his legs, in the aftermath of the bomb blast in the city square.  Saul pulls from a chapter of Dostoevsky and makes an example of him. Part 4 of Episode 9 of The Cleansed: Season 2, an episode titled "The Hunters."

A run-in with the coydog leaves Maria wounded, and Sam's vision for what to do with it is different than the teenagers... With the fate of the dog in doubt, a lone cry in the middle of a starlit night reminds our heroes that the trail they tread is fraud with danger.

Part 2 of 4 We open up the scene to find Lucian and Amos deep in dangerous missions for Paul and his band of 'Angels.' Do violent ends justify the means? Meanwhile, a new faction is introduced to the world, as two members of 'The Family' negotiate with Saul and his Wolves. Part 1 of 4 As the curtain rises on Season 2, we find our motley band of heroes traveling a treacherous river.  Luke is stricken with mind-freezing nightmares and learning to hunt.  John fears the challenges of the raging river and Maria tries to befriend a wild creature. The Dweller compound has survived an attack and our heroes are headed south along a treacherous river.  Luke is stricken with mind-freezing nightmares and learning to hunt.  John fears the challenges of the raging river and Maria tries to befriend a wild creature, but Sam has other ideas. Meanwhile, in the City, things are heating up in the battles between the Believers and Saul's force, the Wolves.  Lucian and Amos launch a strike that goes awry, and learn about yet new forces that enter the battle.

This is the big one. Paul and his angels spill into the streets of the Republic, bearing arms and determined to destroy the Citadel - the source of electricity for the city. Meanwhile, Saul, the master of the shadows, has his own designs. The stage is set for a mighty war, and no one will be unscathed in its wake.

Victory is at hand for Richard and the New Republic. The coordinates of Prophet and the Dwellers is known. A ship is deployed, a bottle of scotch is opened, and a rare thing - music - is turned on. But a shadow lurks behind this puppetmaster, and even as Richard watches his greatest plans unfold, our heroes and heroines must unite if they are to survive the Republic's strike.

The stage has been set for an incredible battle. John Prophet is locked up, awaiting his fate at the hands of the Dwellers' justice. Their "BOL" in rural Maine seems far, far away from the troubles afflicting old New York, but this feeling of safety is about to be annihilated. Because in an open field, as a band plays fiddle and Marc and Luke watch the stars, a darker shape looms on the horizon...
