The battle against HIV and AIDS has changed a lot since the virus was first identified in 1983 and we’ve seen a decrease in new HIV infections overall, but black young people are still disproportionately the largest group for new HIV infections. Today, writer Terrence Chappell, joins us to chat about his work creating awareness about access to HIV prevention.
