Summary: James Waterson and Lauren Lynch report on the day’s news from day seven of the US Open. Rafael Nadal beat David Nalbandian 7-6, 6-1, 7-5, then suffered cramps in his post-match press conference that forced him to lie down on the ground (making most there think he “collapsed”). After his episode, Nadal said that he was suffering severe cramps on both sides of his legs, and that he was going to be alright. Meanwhile, Donald Young beat Juan Ignacio Chela to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career, and Andy Roddick took down Julien Benneteau in straight sets. Finally, Andy Murray and Roger Federer qualified for the ATP World Tour Finals last week, joining Novak Djokovic and Rafal Nadal as the four who have qualified.
