Cool Down Exercises and Stretches

Boot Camp Training Online show

Summary: Exercises and stretches should be developmental when cooling down, this will help you increase flexibility. This is opposed to dynamic, (involve movement), when warming up. In this fitness video podcast personal trainer, Boris Stone, is joined by Katie to show you a variety of cool down exercises and stretches for calf muscles, glutes, hamstrings, quads, back & spine, in order to help get rid of lactic acid and toxins and reduce the chance of injury, strained ligaments and muscles. DOMS, Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness, the pain that can often be experienced the day after exercise, can be significantly reduced by a good cool down stretching routine. Cool down stretches can be done alone but here Boris shows the advantage of working with a partner to help increase the range of stretches possible.
