Razorcake Podcast #205

Razorcake Podcast Feed show

Summary: Another podcast of tuneage both old and new submitted for your aural edification, kids. Some quick things of note about the stuff here: - Nervous Gender's Gestalt single is the first formal studio release by both band and label in a loooooong time, and I think most will agree it was well worth the wait. - "Sick" Rick Medina, vocalist for The Dysfunctionals, was killed 9/15/08 while riding his motorcycle to work. He was a natural-born front man” (charismatic, funny as hell, and a consumate showman who took care of business on the mic without ever taking himself too seriously) and a cool homie. Though it's apparently hard to find these days, I highly recommend seeking out anything by this band or his previous band, Sister Morphine. - When you have a few minutes to kill, look up the video for the Monsters' "Blow Um Mau Mau." Hope ye dig it. -Jimmy To download the file to your computer, right click the link below and select "save target as..." It's a hefty file, so it may take some time to download to your computer. To play the file without downloading (it depends on your computer's configuration for playing music files), just click it. Your media player should recognize what to do with an mp3. (If it doesn't, you're on your own.) RAZORCAKE PODCAST #205 If you have any problems or helpful suggestions you can contact us through the website here.
