Summary: http://www.sandydonaghy.com Sandy was born in the town of North Queensferry in Fifeshire Scotland. on Wednesday the 16th of April 1941 at a quarter to midnight .His family then moved, while he was a toddler, to the town of Rosyth. He had an average upbringing for the time, there was a world war on, and things were tight all round for everyone. But he had a lot of fun growing up. People were much friendlier then. he had a typical Scottish education and was never the brightest bulb in the class, but he got through. His first job was as a rivet boy in the local naval dockyard, his job entailed passing the white hot rivets to the riveter. he somehow managed to get accepted to serve an apprenticeship in the local Air Naval yard at Donibristle - now Dalgetty bay- but It only lasted a year. Bill Haley and Elvis came out and from that moment his life was on a slope to disaster. he experienced Hell on earth from prisons, suicide attempts, homelessness, failed relationships, spiritual and financial bankruptcy. He eventually ended up in Plymouth in Devon. He is so grateful to Plymouth. it was here in 1985 that he reached his most desperate condition. he was a homeless alcoholic tramp.
