An age of false paradigms. In some cases our choices are being whittled down to only two and covertly possibly one. You may only choose between Company A or Company B. You may only choose the Elephant or the Donkey. You may only be politically right or politically left. Is life really so black and white? When we contrast this false reality against the reality of our own senses, we understand that certain potentials are lacking; an overall absence of colors. When we consult our logic, diverse options do appear. So how was this false paradigm shaped? What is it's history? Why has this become so "American"? The word corporation is derived from the Latin word corpus meaning body. The history of corporations dates back to ancient Rome and the concept of a fictional body representing a body of people could be found throughout the ancient world. Corporations, guilds and companies were set up to protect the people in a company from liabilities and to give leverage to common tradesmen and merchants against more powerful forces such as nobility. Out of this seemingly decent concept (the corporation) came a menacing byproduct- the monopoly. Big mergers of already big to medium sized companies who wielded power over the markets at the expense of the working man. The major effects of monopolies in the U.S. came to full fruition in the 1890's. Instead of going back to natural sole proprietorships, which is natural and unhindered in a truly free society. We traded some of our liberties for legislation and regulation to rein in the evil monopoly. We traded the overt fat cats for the covert quiet banksters- The Federal Reserve in 1913. Today people seem to focus on Walmart, Monsanto, Microsoft and the like, but what neo-monopoly of this day and age is theĀ  most evil? The Federal Reserve and the U.S. Government merger. The Federal Reserve is not Federal and there is no reserve. It is a conglomeration of foreign, domestic, elite, private banks that have a choke hold the on the American people, their government and their legislation. http://youtu.be/Td_7ETsUo-Y
