Through ‘forced volunteering’ James Cole is sent back in time 1996 to collect evidence of the virus which all but wiped out humanity. On this mission he meets ‘The Army of the Twelve Monkeys’ and falls in love with a Psychiatrist who is convinced he’s ‘delusional’. It’s not easy being a time traveler. What happens to our sense of reality when we can ‘jump’ from one world to another? If time travel is possible are our minds capable of taking the journey and if they were, would we be considered mad by those around us?
