Summary: In what is the longest Camera Dojo Podcast ever, we spend the evening with Vincent Versace. During this podcast we discuss how we should be paying attention to the blur in our images more than what is in focus. This out of focus is called Bokeh (pronounced Bow Kay).  Vincent blows our minds by teaching us that many of the things that we have been told and accepted over the years are simply not accurate. Next we go into a discussion of focus and that misconception of how focal length affects depth of field. The reality is that it has no affect on depth of field but the focal length affects the apparent focus is because a smaller object will appear less out of focus where a larger object will appear to more out of focus. Vincent challenges us all to spend a day shooting and only paying attention to what is not in focus and not what is in focus. Next we have a discussion of black and white images and processing. This description only touches the surface of the conversation as it runs all over the map but is one of the most entertaining and education shows we have ever done.
