Making therapeutic decisions requires careful consideration of various factors, including the choice of first-line treatment, the treatment-free interval (TFI) after first-line chemotherapy (whether the disease is platinum-sensitive or platinum-resistant), performance status, therapy-related toxicities, and contraindications.
