The Bo Show: Ups and Gowns

Walmart Radio Podcast show

Summary: It’s National Pack Rat Day, and we’ve got another great show to add to the collection. Our Associate Caller of the Day was Angie from Sam’s Club 6252 in Chesterfield, Missouri. She gave a shoutout to her manager, Don. In Milestone Minute, Mark celebrated 30 years, and Nancy and David rang in a solid 35 years with the Walmart family. Congrats, guys! In Say Word, Josh shared the word of the day, oligopoly, which means “the market condition that exists when there are few sellers, as a result of which they can greatly influence price and other market factors.” It also happens to be the world’s worst board game. Bo and Josh celebrated the graduates of the Class of 2021 and offered some tips as they move forward into the next chapter of their lives. Remember, the tassel goes on the right. Additional highlights included cobbler preferences, Frank Sinatra and Bo’s Impossible Question of the Day, which asked: What did some doctors recommend doing to prevent illness in the 1800’s? If it’s true, it explains why Santa never takes a sick day. Be sure to tune in!
