Our Associate Caller of the Day was DeVonte from Store 2328 in Greenville, South Carolina. He gave a spirited shoutout to the entire 2328 team. In Milestone Minute, Amie from Sam’s Club 8292 in Memphis, Tennessee, Christine from Store 1645 in Hanford, California, and Lisa from Store 6036 in Palestine, Texas, celebrated 25, 30 and 35 years respectively with the Walmart family. In Say Word, we got a lesson free of charge on the meaning of “pecuniary,” which means of or relating to money. Customer Andrew of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, dug deep and pulled out the answer for Bo’s Impossible Question of the Day which asked: What are there more of in Japan than anywhere else? It’s Monday, Walmart World, and that means it’s time for a little motivation! In honor of Patti LaBelle’s 77th birthday, Antonio and Iyube kicked things off with an inspirational quote from the legendary singer: “You don’t have to be an angel, just be someone who can give.” Our Associate Caller of the Day was Megan from Store 399 in Longview, Texas, who gave a shoutout to her coworker, Kaylee. Jake from Store 102 in Stuttgart, Arkansas, called in and sang his favorite motivational song, “Strangers Like Me,” by Phil Collins. Your voice inspired us all, Jake! We also heard from Sherese at Store 130 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who joined for a quick round of “Rapid Questions.” It was also National Brother’s Day so Antonio gave a shoutout to his six brothers, who are in Texas and Chicago. Our Social Media Highlight of the Day went to Team Lead Andre from Store 6286 in Killeen, Texas, on his promotion. Another big social shoutout went to Team Lead Trish from Store 4609 in Cincinnati, Ohio, who is celebrating 27 years with Walmart. Happy Friday, Walmart World! Today is National Pizza Party Day, so Antonio and Iyube broke down the best pizza across the United States. Chicago-style? New York-style? You better believe Antonio and Iyube had a cheesy take. Our Associate Caller of the Day was Ronald from Store 1980 in Putman, Connecticut. Jack from Salinas, California, called in to celebrate his fifth wedding anniversary with his wife who works with him at Store 5751. Today during “Shout Shout, Let It All Out,” we had over 20 associate shoutouts. Sam’s Club showed up in force today with three associate shoutouts from our friends at Sam’s Club. Our Social Media Highlight of the Day goes out to Overnight Maintenance Supervisor Priest from Store 2598 in Sacramento, California, who has just reached 20 years with Walmart! Thank you for your dedication and hard work, Priest. Another big social shoutout goes out to Lanarrious at Store 3401 in College Park, Georgia, who recently reported and facilitated the recovery of $1,400 worth of goods. Donna Morris joined Walmart as our Chief People Officer in February 2020. During a pandemic and civil unrest, the well-being of our associates was and still is a top priority. Donna and her team jumped right in and got to work - helping establish our COVID-19 leave policy, partnering to change our hiring process and onboard more than 500,000 new associates, supporting our many diversity initiatives like the Racial Equity Center, and the list goes on. Our Associate Caller of the Day was Ramona “Candy Girl” from Store 1178 in Bedford, Texas. Bam from Store 803 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, also called in and explained that in his town, slushies are called “Bixie Cups.” Marie from Store 1342 in Kenner, Louisiana, joined in to say that she calls slushies “Frozen Cups.” In today’s This or That, Antonio and Iyube discussed if it is better to be overdressed or underdressed. For slushie eating purposes, it definitely makes sense to be underdressed, just in case! Our Social Media Highlights of the Day celebrated a few associate milestones. A huge congratulations to Coach Kristy from Store 5352 in Batavia, Illinois, for hitting her 10-year milestone at Walmart! It’s National Pack Rat Day, and we’ve got another great show to add to the collection. Our Associate Caller of the Day was Angie from Sam’s Club 6252 in Chesterfield, Missouri. She gave a shoutout to her manager, Don. In Milestone Minute, Mark celebrated 30 years, and Nancy and David rang in a solid 35 years with the Walmart family. Congrats, guys! In Say Word, Josh shared the word of the day, oligopoly, which means “the market condition that exists when there are few sellers, as a result of which they can greatly influence price and other market factors.” It also happens to be the world’s worst board game. Bo and Josh celebrated the graduates of the Class of 2021 and offered some tips as they move forward into the next chapter of their lives. Remember, the tassel goes on the right. Our Associate Caller of the Day was Lisa from Store 28 in Miami, Oklahoma, who exuded greatness as our very first caller of the week. Coach Connie from Store 2419 in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, also called in to give a big shoutout to her whole team, who did an amazing job during their regional visit. “Popcorn” from Store 1651 in Vallejo, California, called in during Finish the Lyrics and won! "Popcorn" definitely has a kernel of wisdom when it comes to song lyrics. Our Social Media Highlights of the Day went out to a few associates who have just been promoted. Congratulations to Jodi from Store 72 in Pittsburg, Kansas, for her promotion to Digital Team Lead. At Store 743 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, we celebrated Store Manager Michelle and new Store Manager Summer for their recent promotions. Thanks for all of your hard work, everyone! In Milestone Minute, Timothy, Sarah and Wynona celebrated 30, 34 and 40 years respectively with the Walmart family. Customer Jessica, shopping at Store 4108 in Springdale, Arkansas, came dangerously close to nailing a perfect game of Yes or No Way Bo. You’re still a yes in our book, Jessica. Bo chatted with Melody Richard, Walmart’s VP of Pets, who had us all wagging our tails over National Pet Month and all the amazing stuff available at the stores for pets. Additional highlights included tasty talk of buttermilk biscuits and chocolate chip cookies and Bo’s Impossible Question of the Day which asked: What has a third of the U.S. said makes them physically ill? Our Associate Caller of the Day was Ronald from Store 1980 in Putman, Connecticut, who was very excited to be our first caller. We also heard from LIVE with Antonio regular, Hakeem, who called in to shout out Store 713 in Dade City, Florida. A big congratulations to Hakeem for his recent promotion to stock team one lead. Antonio and Iyube recapped their visit to Store 5092 in Lewisville, Texas, for Wednesday’s show and gave shoutouts to associates Rain, Blessing, Susan and Cowboy Roy. Our Social Media Highlight of the Day went to the overnight team at Store 5497 in Evans Mills, New York, who move mountains of freight to get the store ready for customers. Edgar fooled Antonio by NOT waxing on and waxing off. The student has become the master. Liddy from Store 5092 magnified Buzzword victory with a little help from Antonio. Bo and Josh chatted about tips that can be used to brighten up the day when you’re feeling down. As Billy the Bigmouth Bass says, “don’t worry, be happy.” Matt from Store 573 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, worked through the pain and pulled out the winning answer for Bo’s Impossible Question of the Day which asked: What will 35% of people never experience? We had a very special first on the show today with our first call from a vendor! Our vendor friend called in to shout out Candy and Trey at Store 4048 in Prairieville, Louisiana. Jeremy from Store 1570 in Auburn, Indiana, also called in to celebrate his 20th anniversary as a Walmart associate. Congratulations, Jeremy! In today’s Rapid Questions, Antonio and Iyube discussed their favorite parts of the human face. We now nose what Antonio’s favorite feature is! In Celebrity Chit Chat, Bo chatted with pop trio Shaed about their hit song ‘Trampoline,’ what the D.C. music scene is like and who in the group is an early riser or a night owl. Eric from Store 2079 in Marquette, Michigan, flew in to play Spy the Lie. Let’s just say James Bond better watch his back. Additional highlights included high school cafeteria superheroes, moms (who are the real superheroes), and Bo’s Impossible Question of the Day which asked: What does the average person have 96 of a year?
