#171 The Tale of Skeletons in the Closet [Part 3]

Killafornia Dreaming show

Summary: This is the third part of a multi-part series, so if you have not listened to Episodes 169 and 170 listen to that first, then come back to this. There will most likely be an addendum because there is more I have to say but I’m getting too long winded as it is.

In 1995, Patricia Esparza was a college student, attending school at Pomona University in California. She was an incredibly high achiever and would go on to become a professor of psychology at a university in Geneva. However, the road there was not easy, as Patricia described being sexually abused as a child and also having been date raped while attending college. The twist in her story is that her alleged rapist wound up being hacked to death with a meat cleaver 3 weeks later. His murder investigation grew cold…but it did not go away forever.

TCP CLUB FACEBOOK GROUP: https://www.facebook.com/groups/347997872771948/

https://archive.org/details/WRC_20150516_010000_Dateline_NBC

https://www.orangecoast.com/features/the-professors-mortal-sin/

https://www.ocweekly.com/norma-patricia-esparza-respected-professor-faces-trial-for-killing-man-she-says-raped-her-6450223/

http://www.eyesforlies.com/blog/2013/12/norma-patricia-esparza-writes-for-huffington-post/

https://www.huffpost.com/author/norma-patricia-esparza

https://archive.org/details/WRC_20150516_010000_Dateline_NBC/start/360/end/420
