Summary: On April 17th, 1996 into the small hours of the 18th, popular and well-like San Diego resident Dusty Harless noticed a young man in his car talking to his girlfriend as she stood under an awning getting shelter from the rain. This caused Dusty to lose his temper. A fight in the street ensued, leaving Dusty bleeding to death on the ground and his apparent killer fleeing the scene. The investigation resulted in the arrest of another San Diego man named David Genzler, who would go on to claim he acted in self-defense.
