Summary: Dr. Phil Fox is an amazing cardiologist at the Animal Medical Center in NYC, where he sees both clients and does research in cardiac diseases. In 2018 he published a landmark paper about feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with over 1000 afflicted acts and 700 controls. This disease, like in humans, is most likely caused by a genetic mutation that is undiscovered as of yet.
