Bedtime Stories Cozy Corner Podcast show

Summary: Dragon goes back to the land of snow to compare it with the other lands on Ahway Island. What is same and different?
Hello everyone! We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Same and Different” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!
Narrator: Female
Same and Different Excerpt:
Landing on the snow, the dragon looked for the open water where Beau the little beluga whale had been before. The dragon searched for the sea. Finding it, the dragon thought about the sea in the beach land. There the water was warm, so the dragon dipped a foot into the water, to compare. Oh no! It was not warm here. The water was cold. The dragon shook with a brrrrr. Beau popped out of the water and said, “You’re back!” The dragon smiled and waved at the little beluga whale. “I was hoping you would come back! I wanted to introduce you to my friend Princely Penguin.”

The dragon felt curious. At the beach there were blue penguins. Would the penguins here be like the penguins there? The dragon nodded at Beau, happy to meet a new friend. The little beluga said, “OK, follow me.” The dragon followed the little whale along the icy shore. Soon, they saw a tall black and white penguin waddling along the snowy shore. This penguin looked a bit different from the little blue penguins on the beach. The dragon took a deep breath in and out and breathed a question mark to Beau.
Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating in a tranquil pool, safe and relaxed, as the water rocks you gently.
Looking for a way to help your child learn emotional regulation and how to self soothe? You'll find them on Ahway Island®.
