Summary: Dr. Jonathan Toner is a Research Assistant Professor in Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Washington. He studies planetary surfaces, such as Earth, Mars, and the icy moons of Jupiter and Saturn, to identify sources and potential sources of water. He also studies how conditions on Earth and other planetary systems may have contributed to the origins of life.
