I no longer have a school aged child living in my household. We celebrated and had lots of family in town for the event and it was fantastic</li> <li>Byrd visited for the festivities and she is already beck to school. She is getting ready for an international event where she will go to Japan for a month to work on an advertising and marketing campaign for a large international company.</li> <li>Springtime in the Rockies hit us in full force</li> <li> </ul> <h4>Spin a Tale</h4> <ul><li>Hear me reminisce about how the podcast got started and who were my biggest influencers. </li></ul> <h4>Spinning my Wheels</h4> <p>Even though there has been a ton going on in my life, I have managed to get a little crafting done each day.</p> <p><em>Knitting</em></p> <ul> <li>I am still working on <a href="https://www.ravelry.com/projects/ForeverHandmade/my-blue-heaven">My Blue Heaven</a>. It is a chevron shawl out of a Gradiant set I got from <a href="https://www.the100thsheep.com">The 100th Sheep</a>.</li> <li>I Started another pair of <a href="https://www.ravelry.com/projects/ForeverHandmade/self-striping-sock-2">self-striping socks</a>. The yarn I am using is <a href="https://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/knit-one-crochet-too-ty-dy-socks">Ty Dy Sock</a> by Knit One Crochet Two.</li> <li>I set both of those down to work on another super duper top secret project. I am knitting with a lovely yarn from <a href="https://colorfuleclecticshop.com">Colorful Eclectic</a>.</li> <li>I am thinking about doing another Flashback Sock Knit-along. I may elicit your help in deciding on a pattern.</li> </ul> <p><em>Spinning</em></p> <ul> <li>I have spun pretty regularly on the <a href="https://www.ravelry.com/people/ForeverHandmade/handspun/dreaded-fleece">Dreaded Fleece</a> but didn’t get much further than that.</li> <li>I also started a new spinning project on my Hanson Minispinner. I needed something bright and shiny to combat the weather. I started a beautiful red, orange and yellow merino and tussah silk from <a href="http://www.daizieknits.com">DaizieKnits</a>. Love it.</li> <li>I found a lovely cosmetic case that is perfect for carrying my mini spinner.
