Episode #026: Gravity Wave Clouds

The WeatherJazz® Podcast show

Summary: During the morning hours of Wednesday, November 28 (2018), several repeating rows of clouds appeared at the trailing edge of the cloud deck over the Ohio Valley. They were clearly seen on the visible GOES-16 satellite images and loops. These are known as "gravity wave" clouds or "mountain wave" clouds. In Episode #026, we talk about how these clouds form. There are photos below the podcast audio file on WeatherJazz.com under the post called "Ripple" Clouds. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/andrebernier/support
