Summary: Joining us on the show this week is our Special Guest - conservative activist and president/founder of the American Conservation Coalition - Benji Backer! Benji Backer founded the American Conservation Coalition (ACC) as a nonprofit focused on bringing conservative voices back into environmental discussions. Currently a junior at the University of Washington, Benji also serves on the Wisconsin Conservative Energy Forum's Leadership Council and is a fellow at the Chapman Center in Seattle. He previously served as the co-chair for Young Americans for Mitt Romney in Wisconsin and was named one of RedAlert's top "30 Under 30" conservatives in 2015. Benji has contributed to publications such as CNBC, Townhall, Daily Caller, RedState, and TheBlaze. Benji has also spoken at events across the country, including CPAC in 2014 and 2016. Through ACC, Benji is excited to be helping unite Americans on pro-environmental reforms and change the narrative when it comes to the environment. Also joining us on the show this week to discuss the Jussie Smollett case is our Special Guest - Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Wendy M. O'Connor! Dr. Wendy is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a Doctorate in Psychology in Marriage & Family, and maintains offices in Brentwood & Encino, California. She is also a Relationship Coach, treating issues related to Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, & Technology Addiction. Dr. Wendy is also a Media Consultant for News, TV and Radio regarding the impact of life experiences and relationships. Dr. Wendy hosts a Podcast on iTunes called The Relationship Show with Dr. Wendy & Miss Jenni - two therapists having informal and fun conversations on current topics. She specializes in teaching Secure Attachment Technology IRL (in real life) & Cyberspace. Dr. Wendy has worked in various settings with over twenty years of experience in the community.
