Summary: Joining us on the show this week is our Special Guest - world renowned mentalist - The Amazing Kreskin! The Amazing Kreskin is the world renowned mentalist who has a showman's flair, comedic wit and amazing mind-reading skills. Over the past six decades, Kreskin has had twenty published books, a television series and his own board game. The Amazing Kreskin has become a part of pop culture and inspired the 2009 film - "The Great Buck Howard" produced by Tom Hanks. At the end of the movie it is announced that the inspiration for the main character is The Amazing Kreskin. That character is played by the star of the movie, John Malkovich. John Romero, a leading gaming authority quotes in his book, "Las Vegas The Untold Story" - "Kreskin is the most dangerous person in the world with a deck of cards. The casinos would rather deal to Willie Sutton." Through the years Kreskin has received worldwide recognition for extraordinary predictions, often dealing with international affairs, and sports. On Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Kreskin predicted the 2012 United States Presidential Election, 18 months before Election Day. As revealed on Fox television for the 2016 Super Bowl, Kreskin made three predictions. He foresaw the deciding quarter of the game, the winning team, and their final score. In March 2016 Kreskin released his 20th book entitled, "In Real Time," featuring his major predictions for the next several hundred years. The day after Donald Trump was elected to the Presidency, Fox Television News revealed that Kreskin predicted Trump's election 11 months ahead of time, Live on December 9th, 2015 on FOX 5 Good Day DC Show in Washington, D.C. Kreskin now offers the sum of 1 Million dollars to anyone who can prove that he employs paid secret assistants, or confederates, or utilizes hidden, secret, electronic devices to accomplish his mental presentations. Also joining us on the show this week is our Special Guest - DJ and Synthpop Icon - Rusty Egan! Rusty started his career at the early age of 16 as a drummer playing in various bands while being a runner for recording studios and record labels. Auditioning for Clash in the summer of 1976 he met Sex Pistol Glen Matlock who invited him to join him in the band Rich Kids with Midge Ure. Rich Kids toured extensively, however the overpowering influence of German Electronica eventually split the band, with Midge and Rusty forming Visage with various members of Magazine and Ultravox. Visage released their first album with the world wide # 1 "Fade to Grey", spearheading the onset of the Synthpop 80's movement. In 1979, Rusty and Steve Strange started a small, once a week night in Soho at The Blitz in London, spawning a series of clubs that shaped European nightlife. At The Blitz, Rusty introduced German (Kraftwerk), Japanese (Yellow Magic Orchestra) and British (Eno, Ultravox, Landscape) Electronic/Synthpop to the British club scene, almost single-handedly putting together the soundtrack for the New Romantic movement. Rusty discovered and featured many talented emerging artists at his club and various parties. He promoted the early shows of many top groups including: Ultravox, Spandau Ballet, Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, and mixed Madonna's debut single http://www.madonna-decade.co.uk/everybody.html. In 2004, Rusty was enticed back to DJing and glamour parties as well as more remix requests, including La Roux and Moby. Rusty recently wrote and produced 13 tracks for his debut solo album, "Welcome to the Dancefloor" earning 5 star reviews from various music sites. Rusty is currently working on various music projects awaiting release plus a possible film soundtrack with co-writer Chris Payne. Rusty also hosts a weekly radio show where he features new electronic artists that echo the classic synthpop of the early 80's. He is also involved with various new technologies to help emerging artists become self-financing using Blockchain / Ethereum platforms.
