Summary: Jerry Dipoto and the M's have traded Mike Zunino and Guillermo Heredia to the Rays for Mallex Smith. We knew there would be some sort of shakeup coming, and it's not surprising that Zunino was a part of it because he's never excelled here on offense. Some of that may have been because he was called up to early, some of it may have been injuries, but it is what it is. There's a lot to like about Mallex Smith, although he did much better on turf at the Trop. How will that affect him here?
