Summary: Audrie Pott, a 15 year old Northern California high school student, attended a house party Labor Day weekend of 2012, a few days before the start of her sophomore year. After passing out from heavy drinking, Audrie was stripped of her clothes, her body, including her genital areas, was drawn on all over using indelible sharpie markers with obscenities and she was sexually assaulted by three boys. They also took photos and videos of the assault and distributed the images to all of their friends. Eight days later, Audrie hanged herself from her bathroom shower.
