Summary: Rodney Glen King was caught speeding on the 210 freeway in the early morning hours of March 3, 1991. He led officers on a brief high speed chase until he was finally cornered at an intersection in Lake View Terrace. The LAPD took over command of the scene and 4 officers tased and beat Rodney a total of 56 times with their police batons, as well as kicks to the head and body.
