Women are also experiencing a rapid rise in hair loss. Stress is a large contributor, resulting from a reactionary tightness in the scalp. And, the added stress of hair loss itself only worsens the problem. Genetics, particularly in men, can also play a role.  A common sense approach to diet and nutrition may slow hair loss in both men and women. Avoid unhealthy fats, processed foods, sugar and artificial ingredients. New techniques are available to address hair loss, but an individual should do everything he or she can to prevent further hair deterioration prior to undergoing any type of procedure. William “Bill” Edwards, Founder & CEO of Regenix, joins host Dr. David Friedman to explain the unique reasons for hair loss in men and women, as well as viable solutions to combat the occurrence.
